Personal project. The tool is designed to quickly generate and iterate various models of traditional houses. The workflow is broken down into 5 stages, each having its own controller, simplifying the design process:
1. SHAPE BLOCKOUT (overall shape of the building)
2. OPENINGS SETUP (generated with the "window / opening tool generator", see video at the bottom of the page)
3. ROOF SETUP (roof tiles, ridges, fascias, gutters and downpipes)
4. BUILDING DETAILS (spandrels, balconies, decorative elements)
5. BUILDING DEFORMATION (optional)
All generated parts of the building come with UV's and groups for further SHADING. As everything is procedural, it is easy to add new features.
Software used: Houdini, Arnold (Htoa) for clay renders.
