Personal project. Serie of illustrations created while following the "BioMedical Imaging in 3D" course at CGMA.
I first built a Coronavirus Generator in Houdini and then explored different rendering styles, playing with shaders, displacement and lighting in Arnold (Htoa).
A big thank you to Giorgio Luciano for all his support during the course and also to Sean McEwan for everything he taught in his great course "Procedural Modeling for Production in Houdini", also at CGMA.
Software used: Houdini, Arnold (Htoa), Fusion.
Disclaimer: The video was paused when converting the mesh to vdb as it takes a while to process and I did not want the video to be too long.
